Our history

Do you know the seemingly endless forests in southern Germany? Have you ever been with us at Lake Constance and the Black Forest or perhaps with our neighbors in Switzerland, in Basel or Schaffhausen? What many no longer know today, but is well known to connoisseurs, is the incredible density and importance of this region in terms of watches of all kinds. The history goes deep and far before the times when electronics almost exclusively come from the Far East . Today it is still the Swiss with their fascinating and perfect clockworks, but back then it was the rural region in southern Germany that achieved worldwide fame with its Black Forest clocks, especially the cuckoo clocks.

It was probably the early seventeenth century when Black Forest clock production began. The preferred material was without question wood. Specifically, cherry, oak, maple and basswood were the most popular types of wood. While the Black Forest used to be a classic mixed forest with deciduous and coniferous trees, it was only in the last century that it was gradually reforested almost exclusively with fast-growing conifers, which gave the forest its rather untypical dark impression for this region. Working with wood and being a carver was a typical profession for this region until a few decades ago, which can still be seen today in the great workmanship of the countless wall clocks.

While Swiss watch manufacturers are still making it very far worldwide with their modern wristwatches, the watch industry in the Black Forest and the surrounding area is rather reserved. But there are still the small factories and factories that still live their tradition and their dream and do their best every day to keep up with this ancient tradition

Know-how to produce beautiful watches.

But who really wants a cuckoo clock these days? We all love nature. We also love wood and the art of using it to create and own unique things. So what would it be like, we asked ourselves a few years ago, if we pooled this old knowledge of watches, this great passion for wood and nature, as well as the precise watch movements from neighboring Switzerland and brought back a watch that embodies what is contemporary? we love so much? Maybe fewer cuckoos and more deer?

The passion for contemporary fashion, knowledge of wood and its processing led to us creating our first wristwatch about three years ago. Followed by various mobile phone cases made of wood and a few other products, there were countless individual pieces that were very well received and have been perfected over the years. What was only sold regionally as individual pieces for the first few years has finally become ready for series production after a long period of work. With sophisticated production and an unbeatable team of employees, we are now able to present our products to a larger audience.

With the aim of selling our watches to enthusiasts worldwide, we give our best every day for every product we produce. We guarantee the best quality and the best components for each of our watches. We attach great importance to sustainability and fair trade among our suppliers. Due to the grain of the wood, each watch and each cell phone case are absolutely unique and always unique.

We guarantee that every product contains all our love and a piece of nature that will accompany you in every situation.
